Nacogdoches PD traffic stop results in 2 felony arrests, seizure of 17 lbs. of K2

NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -

After Nacogdoches Police Department officers made a traffic stop on a car on Loop 224 Thursday evening, they arrested two Longview men on felony drug charges after a search of the vehicle revealed 17 pounds of synthetic marijuana, according to an NPD spokesman.

Sheldon Scott Greer, 43, and Mose Jeffrey, 42, are both still being held in the Nacogdoches Jail. Eachman was charged with third-degree felony possession of a controlled substance between five and 50 pounds. No bail amounts have been set for the charges yet.

According to Sgt. Greg Sowell, a spokesman for the Nacogdoches Police Department, NPD officers stopped ay Chevrolet car driven by Greer in the 5000 block of Northwest Stallings Drive at about 5:38 p.m. for a traffic violation.

An NPD K-9 officer alerted on the vehicle, and officers discovered about 17 pounds of synthetic marijuana in the car’s trunk.

Greer and Mose were arrested at the scene and taken to the county jail.
