NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - Presents and decorating ideas can both be checked off your Christmas list at this week's Nacogdoches Treatment Center Christmas Bazaar.
At the same time you can leave knowing your helping Alzheimer's patients and their families who are served by the Treatment Center.
Come this time tomorrow shoppers will be lined out the door for the Early Bird shopping spree. More shoppers will show up on Friday.
All year long the volunteers have been busy making sale items. In addition, there's a silent auction and the "Peacemakers Quilters" are selling raffle tickets on their beautiful handmade quilt.
"We have lot sof beautiful things this year, lots of new things that we've made that haven't ever had before," said Kathy Strong, the Treatment Center Director. "We just keep on looking what's on Pinterest and you find what's popular and that's what we made this year so we are really excited about that."
The Nacogdoches Treatment Center Christmas Bazaar begins tomorrow evening with the Early Bird shopping from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
On Friday it's from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
A chicken spaghetti luncheon will begin at 11 a.m. The Treatment Center is located on Hughes Street.
