NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - Officers with the Nacogdoches Police Department arrested a 38-year-old woman Thursday night after she allegedly got into an argument with her husband and stabbed him in the shoulder with a steak knife.
Rakiesta McKind, of Nacogdoches, is still being held in the Nacogdoches County Jail on a first-degree felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge. No bail amount has been set yet.
According to the Nacogdoches PD daily activity report, the incident happened at a home in the 700 block of Jordan Street at about 10 p.m. Thursday. Sgt. Rob Thorne with the Nacogdoches Police Department said McKind got into an argument with her husband and stabbed him in the shoulder and cut him on the hand with a steak knife.
Thorne said both McKind and her husband cooperated with police, and the weapon used in the incident was recovered.
