Celebrity Author Teaches Primary Students How To Make Reading Fun

Some East Texas primary students learned a whole lot about reading, and they got those lessons from a world-famous children's author.

His name is John Archambault. He hosted a Young Authors Conference Monday at Dunbar Primary School in Lufkin.

He taught the group about "$10 words" like fabulous, fantastic, and wonderful, and told them how those words can make reading a lot more fun than everyday words like fine, good, and great.

Archambault has written several children's books including Barn Dance, Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, and The Ghost Eye Tree.
