NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - The Lanana Creek Bridge on Starr Avenue in Nacogdoches is set for replacement.
The Texas Department of Transportation is hosting an open house Dec. 6 on the subject.
A four-lane bridge, paved shoulders, paved sidewalks, and a bridge railing are on the drawing board. The improvement will make current bridge weight limits unnecessary.
The bridge site will be closed during construction set to begin in May.
The popular Lanana Creek trail will also be closed during construction.
The Dec. 6 meeting is from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Nacogdoches ISD Board Room.
