Bond has been set for a Pollok man accused of shooting a Garrison woman to death Sunday morning.
Eric Parnell is in the Angelina County jail charged with capital murder, revocation of probation for driving drunk, assault-family violence, and evading arrest. He was only arraigned on two of those charges Monday.
His bond for evading arrest and assault is $10,000.
Parnell reportedly shot and killed 18-year-old Anna Franklin early Sunday. Deputies say Franklin and Jennifer Holiday of Lufkin were leaving the Polk's store on Highway 69 North when Parnell pulled up beside their SUV and fired a shot. When they pulled over, Parnell allegedly approached the vehicle and fired another shot.
