NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - Now you see it, and now you don't.
Stop signs were removed Monday from the intersection of Stallings Drive and Loop 224 in Nacogdoches.
The Texas Department of Transportation removed the signs after installing them a short time ago thinking they would make the area safer around a new truck stop.
After the installments, TxDOT received numerous complaints about the signs causing congestion during peak travel times.
The word of advice is to be careful approaching the intersection. Some motorists are continuing to stop.
