TRINITY COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

An ongoing narcotics investigation by the Trinity County Sheriff’s Office resulted in 10 felony drug arrests late Monday night and early Tuesday.

When the TCSO deputies executed a search warrant on a mobile home in the Trinity Cove subdivision, they found heroin and drug paraphernalia.

According to Trinity County Sheriff Woody Wallace, his office had been watching the house in the Trinity Cove subdivision for a while. He said the sheriff’s office got information that allowed them to get a search warrant for the property, which is owned by Mary Tandy, 51, of Trinity.

Seven people were at the house when the TCSO deputies executed the search warrant, and the deputies found heroin and drug paraphernalia in the home.

Wallace said they started executing the search warrant at about 10 p.m. Monday, and they wrapped up at about 1 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Toward the end of the deputies’ execution of the search warrant, a car containing three other people drove up, Wallace said. He said there were drugs in the car as well.

All seven of the people in the house said that they lived there, Wallace said. However, he said further investigation revealed that wasn’t true. They just go there and get high together, Wallace said.
