Jobless rate rises across region

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

Every county in Deep East Texas saw a rise in the unemployment rate between November and December of 2016.

In Texas, the rate increased from 4.2 percent to 4.6 percent.

In Deep East Texas, it jumped from 5.8 percent to 6.3.
