NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

Deputies with the Nacogdoches County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 36-year-old man Thursday in connection to allegations that he used a deadly weapon to assault three adult family members and a baby.

Robert Mitchell Moore, of Nacogdoches, is still being held in the Nacogdoches County Jail on three first-degree felony aggravated assault of a family member charges and a first-degree felony injury to a child charge. Collectively, his bail amount has been set at $400,000.

According to the arrest affidavit, NCSO deputies responded to a 911 call about a disturbance in progress at a home out in the county. When they arrived on the scene, they learned that Moore had assaulted four family members - three adults and one baby.

Moore allegedly used “personal weapons” and a “deadly weapon” in the assaults and caused serious bodily injury.

He was arrested at the scene and taken to the county jail.
