Summer Art Camp Starts In Lufkin

Now that school's out for the summer, hundreds of East Texas kids are headed off to camp.

Instead of learning how to fish or build fires, some students are enjoying the Summer Art Camp at the Museum of East Texas.

Kids ages four to 14 are learning all kinds of neat art tricks, from watercolor to printmaking to painting. The goal of the Summer Art Camp is for students to have fun while learning how to express themselves through art.

One piece from each student will be put on display in the museum.
