POLK COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office criminal Investigation Division is asking for the public’s help in locating a man wanted for his role in the theft of a rescue boat that was taken from the Holiday Lake Estates Fire Department.

According to a post on the Polk County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, investigators are looking for Ryan Brashear.

The Facebook posted reminded citizens that they should not try to apprehend Brashear if they see him. Instead they should call 911.

“He should always be considered armed and dangerous,” the Facebook post stated.

Anyone with any information about Brashear or any of the other suspects should call Detective David Mitchell with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office at (936) 327-6810 or Crime Stoppers at (936) 327-STOP. Callers who call the Crime Stoppers hotline can remain anonymous, and if a tip leads to an arrest, it could result in a cash reward.
