A Kirbyville man known for making music in the Corrigan school district was killed Monday in a car wreck.
Twenty-nine year-old Michael Kael Reeves was headed east on Highway 190 when he crossed over into the wesbound lane and crashed into the back of a log truck.
Reeves was married with a four month old child. He'd been the band director for the Corrigan I.S.D. for about three years.
The wreck happened in Allen Parish Louisiana Monday morning.
Reeves died at the scene. Louisiana police say he was not wearing a seat belt. Blood tests for drugs and alcohol are pending.
Funeral services for Reeves are set for Thursday at 4:00 p.m. at Central Baptist Church in Kirbyville.
