LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - A woman who Lufkin police arrested last week after witnesses claimed she was walking around like a zombie found herself behind bars again Sunday night after police say she was lying in a road and "investigating a crime scene."
Laricia Young, 29, is charged with public intoxication.
According to the police report, police responded to a call of a woman lying in the middle of Hosea Dolphus Road. The officer said Young was still in the road when they arrived and said she was investigating a crime scene and that she had called the FBI.
Police arrested Young. She has since posted a $500 bond.
The arrest comes less than a week after police arrested Young after witnesses reported a woman walking around like a zombie on Culverhouse Avenue Tuesday evening.
An officer arrived to find Young frozen in the middle of Treadwell Avenue, frozen in place as if she was unable to move. The report states she still had a cigarette in her hand that had been dipped in "wet," otherwise known as PCP.
The officer asked Young basic questions, but the officer was unable to understand her answers due to her slurred speech.
The officer said he then noticed her eyes begin to roll back in her head.
