Center PD seeking public's help in finding man who ripped off car dealership

The Center Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding a man who stole an estimated $5,000 worth of wheel simulators from Wright Chrysler Dodge Monday night.

According to a press release, a white male suspect entered the property of Wright Chrysler Dodge in Center at about 7:40 p.m. He was driving a white, four-door Honda Civic.

The suspect took several sets of wheel simulators from some of the new vehicles, causing an estimated loss of more than $5,000.

“Center Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information,” the press release stated. “Anyone who has information should call Center Crime Stoppers at (936) 598-SAFE (7233) or submit a tip online at www.centercrimestoppers.com.”

People who call in tips don’t have to give their names. All calls and cash rewards are completely anonymous. Rewards will only be paid on tips submitted through the Center Crime Stoppers system.
