ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - Law enforcement officers from numerous local, county, state, and federal agencies executed a search warrant in Angelina County and seized methamphetamine, marijuana, an all-terrain vehicle, and 78 guns Tuesday.
According to a press release, authorities obtained the search warrant as a result of an investigation into the sale of illegal drugs and firearms.
Special agents with the Texas Department of Public Safety's Criminal Investigation Division, agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms, deputies with the Angelina County Sheriff's Office, and officers with the Lufkin Police Department all took part in executing the warrant at an undisclosed location in Angelina County.
As a result of the search, authorities seized more than 16 grams of meth, 34 grams of marijuana, a Yamaha ATV, and 78 guns.
In addition, three people were arrested on felony and misdemeanor warrants unrelated to the criminal investigation.
