NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -

Every week, on a theatre stage somewhere in the world, Thornton Wilder's “Our Town” is performed.

This week you will see the Pulitzer Prize play performed at the Lamplite Theatre in Nacogdoches. The play will feature a large cast of Lamplite's best actors of all ages.

"It's set in a small town around 1900 in New Hampshire, but it just as well could be Nacogdoches and it's a story of the town, a boy and girl who grew up together, fall in love, get married. Extremely enjoyable and good for everybody,” said Sarah McMullan, the director of the Lamplite Theater. “All ages will enjoy this."

Our Town will be performed before audiences February 10, 11, 17, and 18 at 7:30 p.m. Sunday matinees are on Feb. 12 and 19.

Tickets are on sale now at the Nacogdoches Convention and Visitors Bureau, Wrap It Up and Glass Castles.
