Army is ready to go to a good forever home

NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - This week's Best Furry Friend currently calls the Nacogdoches Animal Shelter his temporary home, but he's really hoping to find a family of his own.

The staff at the Nacogdoches Animal Shelter does not know much about  Army. Army has spent a month at the shelter waiting to be adopted. The Labrador/ Weimaraner mix has a heart of gold according to those who take care of him on a daily basis.

"He's a big guy," Stephen Bryant said. "He does need to get out and get more exercise. Some people ,if you have enough time and you do live in an apartment, you can get out daily and get him to play. He likes to run and play. He doesn't really chase balls, but he's a good looking. Maybe 2 or a year and a half years old. He needs a good home."

If you're interested in adopting Army, just contact the Nacogdoches Animal Shelter off the loop. They're open Monday to Saturday but closed on Sundays.
