Two arrested after destroying drug evidence in Nacogdoches

NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -

Nacogdoches police arrested two individuals after police caught them destroying drug evidence.

According to Sergeant Mobley with the Nacogdoches Police Department, on Sunday at 11:47 a.m. police stopped a 2010 Ford Fusion for a traffic violation on the intersection of 1700 East Main and Greer Street.  

During the stop, both occupants of the vehicle were observed actively trying to destroy marijuana.  

Winquicla Casey, 21 from Plano, and Breana Small-Peppers, 22 from Plano, were arrested for tampering with evidence, a 3rd-degree felony.
