LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Sienna is considered a large dog, but her heart might even be larger.
At times the 5 year-old Catahoula mix believes she is a small lap dog. It will take no time for her to jump in your lap.
"She was brought to us as a stray off the streets and she has been with us for a little over a month," Kurth Animal Shelter Director Aaron Ramsey said. "She has been spayed since being here so she is ready to go home the day you come look at her. All she needs now is her rabies shot."
Ramsey said Sienna is good for anyone looking to take her outdoors and have a dog that can work beside you.
"She's energetic so she needs to go to someone who has the time to spend with her," Ramsey said. "She's just going to be a good farm dog. Catahula's are herding dogs so she'd be great to go to a farm and have a big piece of land to run and play. They are really smart animals as well."
Sienna is available for adoption at the Kurth Memorial Animal Shelter in Lufkin. The shelter is located off of Hill Street. You can stop by and look at her on Mondays through Saturday from 10 am- 4:45 pm.
