Man robs Nacogdoches convenience store at knife point

NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -

The Nacogdoches Police Department is investigation an armed robbery that occurred at a convenience store on South Street early Thursday morning.

According to the Nacogdoches Police Department daily activity report, the robbery occurred at the Chevron convenience store located at 2225 South Street at about 1:19 a.m. 

“A white man believed to be in his late 40s entered the store and demanded money from the clerk while displaying a knife,” the report stated. The suspect was wearing a black hoodie with a blue bandana around his neck.

The suspect fled the store on foot, and he was gone by the time Nacogdoches Police Department officers arrived on the scene.

If an arrest is made, the suspect will be facing a first-degree felony aggravated robbery.
