HOUSTON COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - The Houston County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in regard information in connection to the May 2016 death of a Latexo man.
According to a report, investigators believe Christopher Moore Angerstein, 22, was assaulted in Grapeland on May 24, and he died the next day from head trauma.
According to Chief Deputy GP Shearer, the case was supposed to belong to the Grapeland Police Department but was handed off to the sheriff's office due to changes taking place in Grapeland at the time.
Shearer said his office got the case almost three months after it happened, and they are just now getting to the part of the investigation where they get information to the public.
