NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

An early morning wreck involving two 18-wheelers is slowing traffic on a major East Texas corridor.

TX-Dot officials say around 2:50 a.m., two 18-wheelers collided causing one to catch on fire on U.S. Highway 59 north of U.S. Highway 259.

Traffic on Highway 59 is being diverted north of Highway 259 while crews work to clean up the wreckage and offload jars of jelly from the burned trailer.

Clean up could take a few more hours, according to TxDot officials. They are expecting traffic to be back to normal by mid-morning.
