LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

Deep East Texas Crime Stoppers is seeking the public’s help in locating two men who stole two travel trailers valued at a total of $60,000 from a Lufkin business recently.

Deep East Texas Crime Stoppers posted a video of the two men cutting the locks on a gate at travel trailer dealership on the Lufkin loop and then driving off with a trailer Monday night.

“Few of us can claim to gain $60,000 after working only two nights, but that’s because we’re not thieves,” the Deep East Texas Crime Stoppers Facebook post states. “Twice recently, criminals towed away travel trailers from a dealership on the loop in Lufkin. Crime Stoppers has a video of the thieves and their truck and cash available to reward a case-solving anonymous tip.”

In the video, Det. J.B. Smith with Deep East Texas Crime Stoppers said the two men used a dark-colored, four-door Ford 250 or 350 pickup with a long bed to steal the trailers from the dealership.

“Watch the video and, if you can identify the thieves, know who owns the truck, or know what happened to the stolen travel trailers, call Crime Stoppers at (936) 639-TIPS, visit www.639TIPS.com, or use Crime Stoppers’ P3 Tips app (http://p3intel.com/mobile.htm),” the Facebook post stated. “Calls and tips directly to Crime Stoppers are anonymous and information that leads to an arrest or the recovery of the trailers might be eligible for a reward.”
