Promoters Want More BYOB Concerts

Promoters for the Clay Walker concert say their first BYOB event was a success.

Ticket sales for the show at the expo center Saturday night were disappointing, though. Organizers say that's because many people waited to see how the event would turn out.

Law enforcement knows whenever there's alcohol and a big crowd, there's potential for trouble, but organizers say there were not many incidents at the concert.

Concert promoter, Flint Thompson, said, "From what I hear, only six people got escorted out, so it was good. Everybody had a great time and I think it was a major success. Everybody thought it was [going to] be crazy, but it turned out to be a blast."

About 3,000 people showed up for Saturday's concert. Organizers have another BYOB event planned for the fall.
