NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - Deputies with the Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office arrested a 41-year-old Garrison man Thursday in connection to allegations that he sexually assaulted a young girl on April 14.
Rodrick Lamonte Johnson is still being held in the Nacogdoches County Jail on a first-degree felony aggravated sexual of a child charge and a Class C misdemeanor no driver's license charge. No bail amounts have been set for his charges yet.
The arrest affidavit stated that the victim is under the age of 14. On April 21, the girl told her mother that Johnson asked her to perform a sex act on him, and she told him that she couldn't do that because she was a little girl, according to the affidavit.
At that point, Johnson allegedly sexually assaulted the girl.
A forensic interviewer at Harold's House in Nacogdoches talked to the girl on April 24. During the interview, the victim said that after Johnson asked her to perform a sex act on him, and he refused, he pulled her pants down and sexually assaulted her.
