Travel Agencies Concerned About Cruises

by Jessica Cervantez

Hurricane Dennis has a lot of people concerned including East Texas travel agencies who have sent families on cruises.

Cruise lines know hurricanes are part of the business. Travel agencies are keeping a close eye on the path of Hurricane Dennis.

Cruise lines often make last minute decisions when dealing with storms. Itineraries sometimes change, but trips are rarely cancelled.

Wyndell Westmoreland, the owner of International Tours & Travel, said, "If they cancel you'll get a refund, but if you choose not to go, you do not get a refund."

Cruise lines will do whatever possible to protect their multi-million dollar ships and the passengers they carry. They constantly monitor the weather to avoid potential danger.
