GUILIN, China – July 3, 2017 /MarketersMedia/

Guilin is one of China’s most popular tourist destinations, and the same natural beauty that draws millions of other visitors makes it a top subject for photographers. With Gatsby Travel’s local Guilin photo tour brand winning a 2017 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence, photographers intent on snapping shots of the area’s uniquely beautiful karst topography, rivers, and villages can count on world-class support.

As one of China’s top designers of China photography tours and other off the tourist trail adventures, Gatsby Travel regularly arranges peerless experiences like those enabled by the award-winning guides at Guilin Photography Tours™. With this Guilin-based photo team winning its second consecutive TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence, Gatsby Travel clients can easily arrange to enjoy the same services relied upon by top pro photographers like Jim Harmer, Trey Radcliff, Rick Sammon, Nick Page, Neil Dankoff, Ken Koskela, and many more. Whether for predawn shots of the Li River or catching the late-night lights of a mountain village, the firm’s guides are ready to do whatever it takes to produce the photography tour of a lifetime for every client.

“It was here in China that I first fell in love with travel and photography as a teenager,” said Gatsby Travel and Guilin Photography Tours co-founder Andy Beales. “I’ve been privileged to combine these passions into several successful businesses alongside my wife, Mia, and there’s nothing we enjoy more than helping other photographers take unforgettable shots of the area surrounding Guilin and elsewhere in China. Receiving a 2017 Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence award has been a real honor. We look forward to many more rewarding tours and adventures to come.”

A city of a little under three million inhabitants located in the southeastern part of China, Guilin lies on the western side of the Li River amid a striking karst landscape. Characterized by sharp, rugged hills and intricate caves formed when soluble rocks like limestone eroded over many millions of years, the local topography ranks among the world’s most distinctive and immediately recognizable.

Guilin Photography Tours is Gatsby Travel’s local brand covering this spectacular, unique area. With photographers from all over the world regularly traveling to Guilin to capture images of their own, Guilin Photography Tours stands as the most highly regarded service of its kind in the area and in China. Many of the world’s top professional photographers have hired Guilin Photography Tours, with every client receiving the same outstanding level of attention, service, and guidance. As Gatsby Travel celebrates the 2017 Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence for Guilin Photography Tours, photographers and others who love travel and adventure are invited to learn more at the companies’ respective websites.

More than a few tar-covered tires are hanging on to the parking lot of a Lufkin tire shop.  On August 31, newly laid asphalt on Loop 287 started sticking to tires of those driving, leaving many of the cars un-driveable. As of Friday, the Texas Department of Transportation hadn't come out with an official cause for the incident, but that hasn't stopped over 600 people from filing claims with them.
