SUSQUEHANNA TOWNSHIP, PA (KTRE) - Officers with the Susquehanna Township in Pennsylvania arrested a 34-year-old Hemphill man on July 24 in connection to allegations that he sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl at a hotel there.
Daniel Justin Rogers is still being held in the Dauphin County Prison on a first-degree statutory sexual assault of a child charge. His bail amount has been set at $50,000.
According to the Dauphin Crime Watch website, Rogers was arrested at about 12:51 a.m. on July 24. The alleged incident occurred at a hotel located in the 4100 block of N. Front Street in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
The victim, who knows Rogers, told her parents what happened, and they called the police, the web site stated.
The girl was taken to a local hospital for treatment and later released.
Rogers was arraigned on July 24, and he as a preliminary hearing scheduled for August 10, according to court documents.
