LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Two-year-old Pearl came into Winnie Berry Humane Society of Angelina County less than a month ago.
"We transferred her from animal control, so she was actually surrendered to them, and we're looking for a home for her" said Mike Stephens, the executive director of the Winnie Berry Humane Society of Angelina County.
Caretakers said spots found on this pup's leg fur make her stand out.
"Pearl would probably love to be around some kids. She's done well so far with kids for us," Stephens said. "So I think she'd like some kids that have a lot of energy and like to play."
During her interview, Pearl focused her attention on a nearby tree-trimming service.
"She's paying attention to the noise at the moment. They're chipping trees and the other dogs and everyone else," Stephens said.
Pearl is spayed, and she has updated vaccinations and rabies shots. Additionally she's micro-chipped making her adoption fees only $80.
