PCSO deputies arrest Corrigan man accused of sexually assaulting child

POLK COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - Deputies with the Polk County Sheriff's Office arrested a 34-year-old Corrigan man Wednesday in collection to allegations that he sexually assaulted a child.

Jeremy Antawain Jackson is still being held in the Polk County Jail on a first-degree felony aggravated sexual assault of a child charge, a state-jail felony probation violation, and two misdemeanor charges - no driver's license and violate PTA. His bail amount has been set at $200,000 for the aggravated sexual assault charge.

The City of Livingston's magistrate judge issued the arrest warrant for Jackson's aggravated sexual assault of a child charge on July 13. It did not list any details about the victim's or sex.

The affidavit for the probation violation states the original charge was state-jail felony evading arrest with a vehicle.
