LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Officers with the Lufkin Police Department arrested a 37-year-old woman after she allegedly passed out on a stranger's back porch while she was high on PCP Wednesday night.
At the time of her arrest, the woman had a "wet" cigar that had been dipped in PCP in her possession, a Lufkin PD report stated.
Natasha M. Upshaw, of Nacogdoches, is still being held in the Angelina County Jail on a possession of a controlled substance between 1 and 4 grams charge and a public intoxication charge. Her bail amount was set at $500 for the public intoxication charge, but no bail amount was set for the possession charge.
Lufkin PD officers found Upshaw passed out on the back porch of a home in the 1500 block of Lakeview Street at about 9:44 p.m. Wednesday, according to the department's daily activity report.
"Officers struggled to get any information out of Upshaw as she stared off into space and mumbled in response to their questions," the police report stated. "She told them she thought she was at home."
When the LPD officers arrested Upshaw, they found that she had a PCP-dipped cigar in her possession.
