NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) -

American Red Cross is also being aided by East Texas volunteers.

"What we're telling them right now is that we're on standby to open as many as four shelters,” said Mike Butchko, the American Red Cross’ community volunteer lead. “We have pre-supplied them. We have no direction or request from any government agency to do that."

Mike Butchko says money, not things is most needed by the American Red Cross.
