TXDOT: Roads reopening after a day of flooding, several still closed

EAST TEXAS (KTRE) -

High water alerts were issued Monday, from the Texas Department of Transportation, for several roads in several ETX counties.

San Jacinto County:

 Reopened roads include the following: FM 2666, 2025, 223, 459E, 223 at Coley Creek and SH 150 from Shepherd to the San Jacinto River.

Angelina County:

Water has receded on FM 2497 in Angelina County and has been reopened.

FM 2497 (Ryan's Chapel Road) in Angelina County is closed due to flooding. 

Jefferson County:

Interstate 10 between Winnie and Beaumont is closed due to flooding. 

TxDOT advises residents to stay alert to rising water in your area. Remember to turn around, don't drown.
