Trinity County Sheriff's Office seeking public's help in finding burglary suspect

TRINITY, TX (KTRE) -

The Trinity County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s helping in finding the second suspect in a burglary that occurred at the White Rock C Store on FM 356 on Aug. 20.

The Trinity County Sheriff’s Office posted a notice about the wanted man on Sheriff Woody Wallace’s Facebook page Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Facebook post, Brian Roberts and another man, who is already in custody in Polk County, were identified as the suspects in the burglary. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken in the burglary. 

The Facebook post stated that a state-jail felony burglary of a building arrest warrant has been issued for Roberts, 28. 

“We are asking for the public’s help to locate Roberts; if you have any information regarding his whereabouts, please contact the Trinity County Sheriff’s Office at (936) 642-1424,” the Facebook post stated. “All calls or information from citizens will remain anonymous.”
