Bond Set For Suspect In Car Chase

A man accused of leading East Texas authorities on a chase was arraigned Monday. That chase went through two counties Sunday.

Michael Timmons of Choktaw, Oklahoma is in the Angelina County jail charged with evading arrest, possession of chemicals with intent to manufacture, and failure to identify himself.

Deputies say Timmons got into an argument Sunday with a woman at a video store in Nacogdoches. He took off after someone called authorities.

The chase started in Nacogdoches County and ended near the intersection of Highway 103 and FM 1819 in Angelina County.

Timmons was finally arrested after his car was disabled with tire spikes. His bond is set at $40,000.
