Angelina County Sheriff's Office asking for help finding person of interest in shooting

ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

The Angelina County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding a man in connection to a shooting incident that occurred in the 200 block of Fair Oaks Circle early Sunday morning. One person was wounded in the incident.

According to a press release, a felony warrant has been issued for Refugio Gonzalez Escobedo, aka "Cucco. He is described as a 41-year-old Hispanic male. He is about 5-foot-6 and weighs about 170 pounds.

Escobedo should be considered armed and dangerous," the press release stated.

Anyone with information about Escobedo's whereabouts should call the Angelina County Sheriff's office ay (936) 634-3331 or Deep East Texas Crime Stoppers at (936) 639-TIPS (8477).
