TRINITY COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

Deputies with the Trinity County Sheriff’s Office arrested a couple on felony drug charges Monday after they checked out a tip that illegal drug activity was going on at their house on Pinecrest Drive.

Cheryl Housley, 40, and Tracy Housley, 45, both of Houston, were both arrested and charged with first-degree delivery of a controlled substance.

Trinity County Sheriff Woody Wallace said Wednesday morning that they got information that Tracy Housley was selling drugs. Wallace said because Tracy Housley is on probation, he doesn’t have the right to give consent to search, so they went to home, which is located in the 300 block of Pinecrest Drive.

Wallace said the deputies knew from the tips they had received that Tracy Housley was keeping methamphetamine in a pipe and flashlights under the trailer house, and they found it.

After Cheryl Housley lied about having drugs in the home, the TCSO deputies found pills and marijuana on her side of the bed, they arrested her as well, Wallace said.
