Hot and dry conditions across much of East Texas have been keeping area firefighters busy.
Wednesday afternoon, Huntington firefighters were called to put out a grass fire off of FM 844.
It's still unclear what caused the fire, but firefighters say this happens a lot during the summer.
"This is the prime time of year. We had one earlier today. Where it was at I don't actually know. The day before yesterday there was two or three. But it's all over Angelina County." says Huntington firefighter Luke Hatch.
Wednesday afternoon's fire covered less than one acre.
