Hudson Family Loses Belongings In House Fire

A Hudson family is now faced with picking up the pieces after a late night fire Saturday night destroyed their home.

Officials say the two story home of Jeff and Lisa Reid was a complete loss.

Firefighters say they were on the scene at the two story log home until about three thirty Sunday morning. Thankfully, no one was hurt.

"All I can say is that we're extremely pleased to having most importantly having the family saved. The sticks and stones can always be rebuilt." says Peter Rowley, Jeff Reid's father in law.

Family members are grateful to the firefighters who put forth the effort to put out the fire, as well as the community for it's support.

The cause of the fire, which is believed to have started in the garage of the house, is still under investigation.

The Reid family was not able to save any of their possessions in that fire. Plus, they had just brought home their new-born son Saturday.
