Public Is Invited To Trans-Texas Corridor Meeting

The public is invited to hear about Texas' future plans for its transportation system.

Public hearings are planned across East Texas to talk about the Northeast Texas to Mexico element of the Trans-Texas Corridor.

TxDOT will present possible locations for the project and gather public comments. The study covers an area 650 miles long and includes 46 counties.

There's a hearing in Lufkin Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. It'll be held at the Pitser-Garrison Civic Center.
