There is a reminder for East Texas parents, your kids might need to get their shots updated.
Beginning September 1st, a new law requires toddlers in early childhood programs to be immunized against pneumoccocal diseases.
Sarah Adams, the immunization manager at the Angelina County and Cities Health District, said now is the time to come in and get shots.
Hours for the health district are Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. On Friday, it is open from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
