WESTLAKE, LA (KPLC) -

Westlake police have released new surveillance photos of suspects and vehicles believed to be involved in an Oct. 12 armed robbery of Whitney Bank on Sampson Street.

Westlake Chief of Police Chris Wilrye said the men entered the bank at 1415 Samson Street around 10:30 a.m. on Oct. 12. While one suspect demanded money, the other removed items from an employee's vehicle purse, taking the keys to her vehicle.

The employee's vehicle was found in the woods near the intersection of St. John Bosco and Harrison streets.

In new information released Tuesday, the suspects were last seen walking west on St. John Bosco Street.

Video footage shows a dark-colored GMC or Chevrolet extended cab pickup truck driving east on St. John Bosco a short while later. The truck is described as possibly an early 2000 model that may have a spare tire on the left rear.

The second suspect was wearing a red long-sleeve shirt, dark-colored tennis shoes, a camo ball cap, sunglasses and a dark-colored Face Shield bandana with paisley print.

Wilrye asked anyone with information to contact the Westlake Police Department at 337-433-4151, the FBI at 337-433-6353, Louisiana State Police at 337-491-2903 or CrimeStoppers at 337-439-2222.
