Missing Man From Pennsylvania May Have Been Spotted In Lufkin

Lufkin police are involved in a high profile investigation. They are looking into the case of a missing man from Pennsylvania.

Last week, a woman in Lufkin snapped a picture with her cell phone of a man some believe looks like Ray Gricar. Gricar is a district attorney. The 59-year-old man has been missing since April 15th.

Investigators say the woman saw a man at Chili's in Lufkin last Monday. She then snapped the picture and contacted authorities. It was soon after that local police became involved.

"We began distributing some of the flyers and trying to make contact with some of the places locally. I've spent most of the day today contacting motels and local restaurants in the area where he was last seen," says Detective Mike Shurley of the Lufkin Police Department.

Authorities say Gricar's car was recovered the day after he disappeared in Pennsylvania. About three months after his disappearance, Gricar's laptop computer was found in a Pennsylvania river minus its hard drive.

Gricar doesn't have any known ties to East Texas. If you have any information on the whereabouts of Ray Gricar, contact the Lufkin Police Department.
