She was charged with second-degree felony possession of a controlled substance between 4 and 200 grams, state-jail felony theft of a firearm, Class A misdemeanor unlawfully carrying a weapon, and Class B misdemeanor possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

After the stop, the officers asked the driver of the vehicle to exit and move to the rear for safety reasons. While the driver was speaking to the officers, he admitted to having a small amount of marijuana in the vehicle.

At that point, the officers removed the two passengers and detained them, the press release stated.

During a probable cause search of the Toyota, the Crockett PD officers found a 9mm pistol that had been reported stolen by Dallas PD. The press release stated that it is believed that the handgun was used in an armed robbery in the Dallas area.

The CPD also found a clear plastic bag containing a white, powdery substance that later tested positive for cocaine. The cocaine weighed approximately 13.3 grams, the press release stated.
