Nacogdoches Receiving More Evacuees

Shelters in Nacogdoches are in the process of receiving an additional 300 evacuees. Volunteers say that some new shelters are also being opened up in Nacogdoches.

The Nacogdoches Expo Center is being set up as a triage station, while the First Christian Church will serve as a shelter for those with special needs. Also, Fredonia Hill Baptist Church will be serving as a regular shelter.

Officials say they are in need of pillows and blankets. If you can donate any of these items please drop them off at the Nacogdoches Recreation Center.
