Statewide endangered missing persons alert issued for Livingston teen

POLK COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

A Statewide endangered missing person alert has been issued for a Polk County teen.

On Monday, The Polk County Sheriff’s Office announced that they were seeking the public's help in finding a 14-year-old boy from Livingston.

A post on the Polk County Sheriff’s Office page stated that Jeremiah Murphrey was last seen wearing black jogging pants and a black Under Armour hoodie. He was also carrying a black backpack. 

Murphrey may possibly be traveling in a red Ford Mustang with unknown license plates.

“If you have seen or heard from him, please contact the Polk County Sheriff’s Office at (936)-327-6810 or Polk County Crime Stoppers at (936) 327-STOP,” the Facebook post stated.
