LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Football is months away but it has been a busy Spring for Lufkin's Javasia Brunson.
The Defensive end announced on twitter Monday that he had gotten a new offer for college football. This time it was North Texas who came calling.
The Mean Green have company in their efforts to land the panther. Brunson has eight FBS offers on the table. It is no wonder. Brunson was a dominant force of the Lufkin defense that helped carry the Panthers to the fourth round of the playoffs.
Brunson is also fielding offers from Oklahoma State, South Florida, SMU, Nevada, Southern Miss and Tulane. Brunson is joined by Breylon Garcia as the other Lufkin defensive player with a FBS offer. Garcia picked up his first last week from Rice.
