The Diboll Ladyjacks are in the middle of a historic playoff run.
The team is preparing for the Regional Quarterfinals. No team in the school's history has made it this far. To get here the team won a close game to Silsbee winning 10-9 then shut out Cleveland 5-0.
"We have to just keep winning and pushing through," senior Victoria Estves said. " They are going to remember us."
This time the team will go up against the Lady Falcons of Huffman Hargrave. Hargrave edged out Diboll 6-5 earlier in the year in a tournament game.
"We had them before but we just got too big headed," senior Breanna Palomino said. "We just thought we didn't have to do anything else. We made errors and lost the game.
The Diboll seniors don't want this Friday to be there last game. They don't feel any pressure. For them it is just another step in history.
"We play harder when we have just one game," senior Hannah Scoggin said. "it is do or die so we are playing our hearts out every game. We have grown as a team and if we eliminate the small things that happened against Hargrave then we have them in the bag."
The two schools will meet up at 7pm on Friday in Livingston.
