LIVINGSTON, TX (KTRE) - No one was injured when a van turned in front of a Polk County Sheriff's Office vehicle driven by a PCSO detective on his way home from work on the afternoon of May 11.

The two-vehicle wreck occurred in the 1600 block of West Church Street.

According to the Livingston Police Department crash report, Adys Mirabel, 29, of Livingston was driving a gray 2003 Mazda van. She was stopped at a light on West Church and facing east when she tried to turn into a private drive located at 1620 W. Church Street.

Mirabel's van turned in front of a black 2014 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by David Sottosanti, 46, of Livingston, and it was hit on the passenger side, the report stated. Det. Leon Middleton with the Livingston said that Sottosanti is a PCSO detective and added that it was his understanding that Sottosanti was on his way home after work when the wreck occurred.

Mirabel failed to yield the right of way to Sottosanti, which caused the wreck, according to the crash report.

Neither of the two adults or Mirabel's 3-year-old daughter were hurt in the wreck, the report stated.
